Nine days after storm Alex hit the Alpes-Maritimes, the lifeless body of a woman was found on the territory of Monaco.
However, it is not possible to say, this Sunday morning, if it is a victim of bad weather.
According to the public prosecutor of Nice, contacted by
20 Minutes
, "we do not know the origin of this body, the autopsy did not make it possible to determine it, it is about a woman without known identity".
Six dead, thirteen missing
The provisional official toll of storm Alex therefore still stands at six people dead, including a firefighter whose remains were found Wednesday in the Var river in Carros, and thirteen worrying disappearances.
Bodies, which have already been found on the Italian coast, came "very probably" from French cemeteries.
The old cemetery of Saint-Dalmas-de-Tende was almost completely destroyed by the flood of October 2.
