US President Donald Trump expressed hope for the accession of nine more countries to the agreements of Israel, the UAE and Bahrain on the normalization of relations.

As pointed out by RIA Novosti, he said this, answering the relevant question of journalists.

“I think seven, eight or nine,” he said, referring to the number of countries he thinks can do it.

At the same time, Trump added that he believes that Saudi Arabia will be among these states.

Earlier, the US head, commenting on this issue, spoke of five Arab countries considering the possibility of normalizing relations with Israel.

On September 15, Bahrain and the UAE signed agreements with Israel to normalize relations. The documents were signed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdel Latyf al-Zayani and UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zeid al-Nahyan.
