Yevgeny Danchikov, Head of the Moscow General Control, said that wearing a mask and gloves in public places of the capital, except for transport, objects of trade and workplaces, is only recommended.

“Fines are provided for the absence of masks and gloves in public transport, when visiting trade enterprises or at the workplace,” RIA Novosti quoted Danchikov as saying.

He noted that the mayor’s decree requires the wearing of masks and gloves in public transport, trade enterprises and the workplace. For violation of the requirements will be administrative responsibility.

He noted that in other public places it is recommended to wear masks and gloves for their own safety.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that in the capital from May 12 a mandatory regimen for wearing masks and gloves in public transport is introduced.
