The EU-27 and the British government agreed Thursday on a dual strategy on Brexit. Should the British parliament still agree to the withdrawal agreement next week, there should be a postponement of the Brexit date until 22 May, according to a compromise text, which the news agency Reuters was able to see.

If the lower house does not agree, there should be an extension until April 12th. The EU expects Britain to explain how the country wants to continue by no later than.
