US President Donald Trump canceled the visits of Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi to Brussels, Egypt and Afghanistan in connection with the suspension of the work of the government of the country.

“Unfortunately, I have to inform you that your visits to Brussels, Egypt and Afghanistan are being postponed due to the shutdown. We will revise the schedule of the seven-day trip, when the shutter will be completed, “- said in a letter to Trump, addressed to Pelosi. The document was published by the press secretary of the White House, Sarah Sanders.

Trump added that it would be more useful for the Speaker of the US House of Representatives to “spend time in Washington to participate in negotiations with the president” and join the movement of enhanced border security.

“If you decide to fly commercial airlines, that’s your right,” the American leader added.

Earlier, the media reported that the US administration has twice worsened the assessment of economic losses due to the shatdaun.
