Poroshenko promised to respect the choice of Ukrainians in case Zelensky won

The current president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, said that he would respect any choice of Ukrainian citizens, for whom they would not vote in the second round of elections.


“If, God forbid, he (Zelensky. - RT ) is elected, but it will be the choice of the Ukrainian people, and I will respect him,” Interfax-Ukraine quotes him.

Earlier it was reported that the presidential candidate of Ukraine showman Vladimir Zelensky did not come to the Olympic Stadium in Kiev to participate in the debate with his opponent Poroshenko.

In turn, the headquarters of Zelensky said that the debate should be held on April 19 at 19:00.

Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Spiridon Kilinkarov, in an interview with NSN, appreciated the popularity of Zelensky in Ukraine.
