Picture Kuindzhi "Ai-Petri. Crimea "will not be returned to the exhibition in the Tretyakov Gallery

The director general of the Tretyakov Gallery, Zelfira Tregulova, said during a briefing at the Ministry of Culture of Russia that Kuindzhi's painting “Ai-Petri. Crimea ”, which was stolen the day before, will be delivered to the Tretyakov Gallery, but it will not be returned to the exhibition.


She stated that “the picture at the exhibition will not be shown.”

Tregulova also reported that the Russian Museum, from where they brought this picture, plans to send its specialists to the Tretyakov Gallery.

Later, the suspect in the theft of the painting was arrested.
