Picture Kuindzhi "Ai-Petri. Crimea "back to the exhibition in the Tretyakov Gallery

Painting by Arkhip Kuindzhi “Ai-Petri. Crimea ”, which law enforcement agencies found after the abduction from the Tretyakov Gallery, will return to the exhibition. This was announced by the director of the department of museums of the Ministry of Culture Vladislav Kononov.


"We discussed with Vladimir Gusev (director of the Russian Museum. - RT ): the picture returns to the exhibition at the Tretyakov Gallery tomorrow and will be there until its completion," he wrote on Twitter.

According to Kononov, the experts came to the conclusion that the condition of the canvas does not prevent its short-term exposure, provided it is placed under glass.

Earlier it was reported that the picture will not be returned to the exhibition.
