Activists of the Serbian Radical Party, led by their leader Vojislav Seselj, burned the flags of the European Union and NATO in the center of Belgrade on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the bombing of Yugoslavia.

“We will never forget this and will never forgive. The Serbian people will never think of joining this organization, and that these animals incite us to attack other peoples, ”RIA Novosti quotes.

He said that Serbia has nothing to look for in the EU, where, according to him, “all the worst Serbian enemies have concentrated”.

According to Seselj, the only way of the country should be directed to the east - towards Russia and the CSTO.

Vladimir Chizhov, the Permanent Representative of Russia to the European Union, said that the actions of the NATO member countries in Yugoslavia in 1999 were a gross violation of international law.

In turn, NATO, 20 years after the bombing of Yugoslavia, still believes that they were necessary and legitimate.
