Browder claims the UK indicted him for the murder of Perepilichniy

The head of the Hermitage Capital fund, William Browder, said that the Investigative Committee of Russia had charged him with organizing the murder of Russian businessman Alexander Perepilichny.


“The Investigation Committee of Russia officially accuses me of the murder of Russian informant Alexander Perepilichny in Surrey in 2012,” he wrote on Twitter.

Earlier, the Moscow City Court judge recognized the in absentia arrest of William Browder in connection with the organization of the criminal community.

In late 2017, the businessman was sentenced in absentia in Russia to nine years in prison for tax evasion and the intentional bankruptcy of the Dalnyaya Steppe enterprise.

In addition, in 2013 he was convicted of tax fraud.

State Duma Deputy Alexander Sherin, in an interview with FAN, commented on the situation with Browder.
