One more candidate for the French left.

Former minister Christiane Taubira, 69, formalized her candidacy for the presidential election on Saturday January 15 in Lyon, adding to the many candidates on the left, claiming to want to respond to "anger" in the face of "social injustice" .

She said she wanted to convene a "conference on wages" and defend a government "which knows how to dialogue instead of moralizing and caporalizing".
