McDonald's Japan, a major hamburger chain, has announced a voluntary recall of set menu toys sold at stores across the country after a problem with parts coming off.

The toy that McDonald's Japan is voluntarily recalling is the set menu toy ``Happy Set ``Doraemon'' Vol. 1 Doraemon and Tuba no Fue'' that McDonald's Japan sold at stores nationwide from the 15th to the 18th of this month.

According to the company, they have received reports from customers who have purchased the toy, saying that parts of the toy have come loose, and while there is no information on health hazards so far, there is a risk that children may accidentally put it in their mouths. This means that we have decided to take action.

It is estimated that 430,000 products will be affected.

The company is asking people to stop using the toys, and will be accepting collections at their local stores from the 5th of next month.

McDonald's Japan said, ``We sincerely apologize for the worry and inconvenience caused to our customers. We will further strengthen our quality control in the future and strive to prevent it from happening again.''
